Hey Martin, which Pivos do you have? The AIOS or the XIOS? The AIOS has a rebate at Newegg for a net price of $65, but if things are slow or difficult to work with or impossible to make happen, then the price doesn't matter.

I'm trying to find a decent interface the family can use, and best would be to get off of local computers and have something like this.
Hypervisor Host, Linux Ubuntu VM, recording to QNAP NAS, NXTPVR 7.0.1.241229

Sorry for Pivos XBMC only runs on the XIOS in Linux and Android modes.

- skinning and some functions look more like NextPVR
- show play vs resume
- record option are working
- some of the left side lists
- search with record capability
- channel groups (working) I am running a reduced set of my ATSC channels for this demo.

It is working on my Pivos and Cubox devices too.

Hi Martin, so just to get this right in my head Big Grin

I could run your plugin from a box with windows running xbmc? Or only linux? I could now have an xbmc box say in my main hub/room doing this and also run my NMT's doing NextPVR back to the main server?

Your work is outstanding whatever the answer. Thank you!

This is a python addon that should run on ANY recent version of XBMC on ANY platform. It leverages a lot of work that Ton did based on MythBox. I took it on as a challenge since I've got a few small boxes that run XBMC but they don't have what it takes to make an NMT client (no HD audio, BluRay iso etc.) In my testing, on one laptop I built a simple boot USB and it runs really nicely. I'll elaborate on that when this gets a bit closer to distribution.

As I wrote when I first responded to this thread, the XBMC unified PVR is probably better approach as a client, but it is not able to run on the range of devices that this one will today, but I think that is going to change as the baseline for the next version comes together.

Wow, I haven't got a clue what you're talking about but I'm very excited.

Yes, not having to give the explanation is why I like YouTube but steeb has his curious nature. This is a good thing because he can write it up for the wiki after he understands it!

I'm in the group too.....don't understand 75% of what goes on but enjoy reading about it and am especially thankful for all the work all of you do to make this a great program.
If you spell things out for me and give me instructions, I'll gladly test anything you need me to.

Looks like support for XBMC as a front end is coming soon.
