Live TV Freezes are still here with the NPVR Client V2.6.2

With all and absolute respect to sub; Have a go with the xbmc front end. It's still missing a few of the features found in the npvr client, but adds a lot of new ones that make up for this. It's also rock solid for day to day viewing, which unfortunately the npvr client hasn't been recently. Fairly easy to set up, takes a bit of learning to get used to the control method, , but can be installed side by side so easy to fall back to npvr in a waf emergency!

testing on the next release has begun, so nothing more can be done with 2.6.2. There should be more time to work out this problem with the next release.

Any news regarding the freezing issue? I just installed npvr and I cannot go more than 15 minutes prior to freezing on my client pcs?

I've not seen the problem since 2.6.2.

No obvious cause has stood out in the most recent logs. If you can post more logs, I'll take another look though.

Just an update on this, I'm still seeing this bug with 3.1.1. Sorry I don't have logs attached, but happy to do so if this would help.

Plus one here. It seems to be when getting towards the end of a program whilst watching live TV. It only does it occasionally and we've learnt to just hit the skip forward button and it carries on as if nothing has happened.

Again I can capture the logs the next time it happens if that might help.

Resurrecting this issue - just switched providers and added HDHomeRun Prime and Cablecard to my setup, also kept a HDHR Dual (ATSC) - I was running 2.6.2 but found the Prime was causing random LiveTV freezes on my client - never had and still don't see the issue with the ATSC channels on the Dual. Recordings play back fine.

I upgraded server and client to fully patched 3.1.1 - improves the live issue as the freezes are less frequent, but still there.
