I don't think this will be related, but I've cleaned it up for the next build. HDHR was deleting correctly, but SAT>IP and Extras weren't.

I suspect it's somehow related to this, and the IP address has changed, and it's trying to connect to a device that now longer exists.

His SAT>IP table here https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid589849 had many all showing .95 (I guess because of the deletes but it never updated to the .225 entry that he was getting in a new scan.

Since the tuning file has the full rtsp URL how do you get the ip and port from the master table?

I can't remember all the details. I'm bit busy today to dig into it with one of my SAT>IP devices here. I'm guessing it's just using the full rtsp url from the CHANNEL_MAPPING, and not coping if the url changes.

One of the reasons I lumped the HDHR into this is it doesn't seem to handle IP changes either. There was this recent thread on that https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid589770

I have never used the Freesat EPG because it was not available on NextPVR when started using it.
I am testing the new version on NextPVR Beta 6.1.6 240217 on my Test NextPVR server.
I have just done a transponder scan with a SAT>IP tuner to check the tuners are working with NextPVR.
All the channels in the EPG are set to Freesat (UK).
I select "Update EPG!
It immediately crashes with   [0 inserted, 0 updated, 0 skipped]
Logs Enclosed!
I now wonder if I may have done this some weeks ago as part of the test into why the SAT>IP tuners were not working when using the database from my live server!!

It has errors out the same place. I wonder if using this unusual folder C:\Users\Chris\Downloads\NPVR\data\ for the program files is causing an issue. I don't remember if sub has to add a tuning file for the EPG like he does for Linxu. Do you have a linux-uk-freesat.conf in that folder?

Although my job when I retired was Admin a subnet of Linux servers I now limit my Linux to LibreElec so dont have that Linux conf file! However I do remember recently trying the old Freesat EPG but dont think that worked either!!

I think it is supposed to be there in the beta I have it here which is why I asked. It won't be used but maybe your manual install is off?

Yes there is a linux-uk-freesat.conf in the NPVR directory in downloads!

Not sure if this is a different was of looking at the problem!
I did a clean install of the current NextPVR release on my Test Server. It lists 4 X SAT>IP tuners and one DVB-T2.
I scan SAT>IP tuner 1 using my "28.2 West" transponder list which currently has 23 transponders for my region instead of the full list of 114! I delete the unwanted channels which leaves 32 channels.
I scan the 6 terrestrial Mux used locally with the DVB-T2 tuner and delete the unwanted channels  which leaves 34 channels.
I set all channels to use "Freesat (UK)" as EPG source.
I select "Update EPG" and almost immediately get message :- EPG Update Complete  [0 inserted, 0 updated, 0 skipped] so blank EPG!
Both tuners are working as I can view a DVB-S2 only channel and a DVB-T2 only channel.
If I change 1 channel to DVB/ATSC EPG it inserts 3407 EPG Entries from the terrestrial TV EPG. This leaves 9 channels without EPG as there are extra HD channels on satellite not on terrestrial TV!!
Is the Freesat EPG unable to use a SAT>IP tuner?
