I tried version 0.22 first then removed your plugin and installed version 0.17 and reconfigured that.

Is there a way to check if the audio output pin is present?

Should i get an audio capture direct show filter for the card?

If the pin is present what config option should i choose ie (wave mixer out).

Many Thanks Jase.

Things get better

I'm attaching logs from the Elecard Video Decoder.

I click Live TV, I can view it (Still no sound, haven't got to that yet)
I hit Ctrl K to record. Screen goes black, and dumps to main menu after about 20 seconds.

So I start playing with my encoders.
With the Roxio Encoders selected, (as shown in attached picture) It actually works fine. (Still minus sound)

I've done a lastgraph using Graph edit. It looks like to my untrained eye that something is missing. (I've got a soundblaster Live, and the TV audio out is connected to it's Line in. and it works under ATI's MMC)

Looks like I'm not the only one who can't get the sound to work on their TV Wonder. :\ There are a few with the same problem.

Hey, thanks for the reply! Anywhoo, I fixed the sound problem by replacing my ATI drivers with these http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/ Big Grin

Now I've discovered yet another problem- the thing isn't going into Time Shift Mode TV. It keeps saying "No tuners are available to watch the requested channel. You can choose to watch one of the currently recording programmes".

I don't think it has anything to do with the new drivers- all the other programs work great with the new drivers, but arn't practical, user freindly, or registered.

Anywhoo, if that graphedit thing would still be useful- I can give it a shot if you tell me how to use it. Wink

If these drivers are worked into full compatability... It seems logical to me that since they're the same drivers that work with tons of diffrent cards, it should open up compatability with all the cards the drivers support. (listed at this link http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/supportedcards.html )
I dunno, there's prolly some catch.. But it's a thought...

Till next time! Big Grin

Deepspace1, I have the exact same card (ATI TV Wonder pci) and am so far having the EXACT same problems as you to a T. I was actually getting ready to post the same problem when I came across your post. Have you managed to get the timeshift features working? I have tried multiple video encoders (ATI MPEG Video Encoder, WMV Video encoder DMO, ATI Media Center video encoder, Snapstream BeyondTV Mpeg video enocder) all without success.

Have you had any luck?

DeepSpace1, you are awesome. With those drivers, the sound works.

GBPVR doesn't seem to like the ATI encoder so that might be why you're getting that error.

EDIT: I guess I spoke too soon. Now all the channels are all jumbled up. So as I go through the channels, it skips around.

Hmmm, what version are you using? I found that .16 bugged up a bit with the new drivers like that, and that .22 seems to be flawless (besides timeshift mode not working).
Another thing you might try is reinstalling the drivers to ensure you configured the tuner correctly in the install wizard.
Hope that helps!

I am going to experiment a bit with codecs to try to fix timeshift mode.

Try using one of the encoders listed in post #1.

I did, they don't show in the Codec selection list. Now I'm loaded up with trailware... Sad

Any idea how to get the codecs to show in the selection list?

I have managed to get the compro videomate t300 to record with audio using version 0.22 of the plugin. I had tried using version 0.17 of the plugin but that failed to record anything. I just got errors in the recording log. I did not change anything to get this to work so am still testing to find the cause of the problems. I got this to record with audio using the patch cable, i could not get it to work with pci audio. The problem i have is with playback of the recording, gbpvr will not play it back unless i choose the elecard decoder, which i have to set as system default as i do not get the option to choose it in gbpvr. I also managed to get the compro working with sound in preview mode with the patch cable, but when viewing the lastgraph the audio renderer is not connected but still works (Strange).

The recording would also not playback on the mvp.

I will do some more testing to see if anything had changed to make this work.

Also do you think that this thread could be made into its own group as it is hard to keep track of the different problems people have and posts get missed.

Many Thanks for your help Jase
