when you say a blank screen, where do you mean, when you click on the the "My Playlists" button, or once you tried to load the playlist?

When I click the "playlist button", you don't get any results, I can see mp3's fine etc but just no playlists eg Mymusic.m3u etc

playlist == the current playlist
my playlists == a list of all your playlists in the defined playlist directory

come to think it this button is missing from my menu on my pvr, i just figured i had turned it off for some reason, if its missing from your menu let me know. there should be about 6 buttons by default.

Your right, I've got 4 buttons on the 1st screen:

"View"; "Sort by"; "Playlist"; "Main Menu";

Then if I go "Playlist" I get 6

"View"; "Shuffle"; "Repeat"; "Save"; "Clear"; "Back"

No "My Playlist to be seen?

As far as I remember I have not changed any of the defaults.

yup then it must be my bad, theres another bug or two i want to fix first, so ill post an update either tonight or tomorrow.

i started using this plugin again so hopefully i should get a stable release out soon, i probably wont to a final release thou (ie update wiki and all that) until ive finished my vids 5 and my programs 3 (they may require me to change a few things).

oh in the mean time to fix this, just edit the config.xml and delete the part
/settings/PluginSettings/MyMusicPlugin/MenuItems

i missed that part in the config app.

just upload beta 4

- added "albums" sort mode, this displays every album from the database. if you have 2 albums with the exact same name, they will be shown as one (but i dont know of any albums that share the same name)
- fixed the "play" button issue
- fixed the "add to playlist issue", pushing the red button on a artist/album will add all those songs to the current playlist
- fixed the menu in the config, this will require you guys to delete the old menu nodes from the config.xml file (as mentioned in the previous few posts).

i think i fixed a few other things aswell, ive added "f7" (by default, can be changed in the keymappings file) to launch the screensaver (not sure if i did this in the last version).

Finally I can get rid of WINAMP:-)

Maybe tomorrow I'll try the new version. Till then I'm just gonna sit back, listen to some good music and enjoy

Been playing a little more and was wondering if it would be possible to somehow refresh the database.

For example, if you delete mp3s from the drive, you could then rerun MyMusicDBLoader and it would remove the mp3s from your database.

Also to add new mp3's
