ZProcess - Old Support Thread...

I'm sure I'm doing something dumb here, but I've just downloaded zprocess, unzipped and run the install batch file, installed the reg file and tried to right-click a file and do sent to. All fine, zprocess fires up, asks me for comskip (which I don't have) and the override and backup folders, which I give it, then I get "invalid procedure call or argument" and it sits on the taskbar, however opening it just gives me an hourglass and I can't do anything other than switch tabs. Am I missing something??

It was the latest beta updated today, I downloaded it about 2 hours ago.

I'm going to try the stable one now, see if that makes a difference.

Update - stable version (370) runs fine, going to have a play with transcoding now

I think you'll like the beta. I'm updating the part that asks for comskip and then crashes. I had no idea ther'd be so much interest from those that Do Not use Comskip...

Just a reminder... I'm seeing a trend where folks have better luck when the upgrade if they run the RemoveZProcess.reg, then overwriting a new beta version...

If you've spent hours getting the aspect ratios just right in the Trans2MVP Profile, you will want to write those numbers down or visit this spot in the registry...

Checking possible typo... 598 - Freaky. I released two cuts 589 and 598 within 40 minutes. Sorry for the confusion...

Remember to run RemoveZprocess.reg first. (It hasn't been updated - still the same one from either of my zips: stable or beta)

Using VLC?

Hi Zehd, The latest from your link was 1.0.0.589 not 598. Do you mean that or a typo? build 589 leaves me in a loop trying to cancel out if the VLC location.

I got build 370 in the zip, 589 in the update, very strange.

As mentioned... I compiled two copies, 589 and 598 in about 40 minutes spread... Obvious room for confusion...

Yes, then I guess there must be caching. I double checked in my FTP Webspace... There should defietly be the right one there...

(Next time try CTRL F5 in your rowser and see if that forces the cache. But anyway, glad you got 598 and it's working...
