Hmm, interesting... What's with:

gbpvr/images/manage_btn_play.jpg

It looks like it will have the ability to play recorded shows?

To answer my own question: nevermind, I guess it's in all versions of the web-interface, just not currently used.

Looks great

Anyway possible to move the popup window up, so that all of the popup window is visible

Also move the right arrow, the 'Go' botton and the listbox with date and time over to the left so that it always will be visible - often the screen is bigger than 1024X and then I have to scroll the screen to see the bottons

normanr,

Thanks for taking the reins on this and continuing to enhance the web admin. If you have time, there are a couple of other enhancements I had wanted to do to it, but never really got the time to complete. I'm attaching source for a couple of changes to the Managed Recordings to give an idea.

Summary:

The idea was to split out those recordings that were Scheduled or Pending, from those that have already been recorded. The current screen tosses everything together. I typically have on average 60 or 70 recordings scheduled and as new items get added, it makes it difficult just to see what is coming up. The source included can be used as a basis for making this enhancement.

Only source is included, but should be a direct drop in replacement for the existing MangeRecording.aspx and .cs file, plus the new ManageSeason.aspx and .cs files.

Please feel free to include these if you want in your enhancements. I may eventually get time to add support for CDK Scheduler and scheduling of programs from the web, but not much time right now.

numatrix: 1) hrm, the recordings folder would have to be made avalible over http - at the moment the web server is cassini, so this might be tricky. It might be possible to do it via an aspx page although.

2) I've been thinking of adding an ability to search in certain channels only. So maybe this will work.

3) yea, that button has always been there.

antispam: the popup should always center itself on the screen, an the main list really should never be larger than a 1024x768 screen supports.

KingArgyle: yea no problem, I'll take a look at the files you've provided. I don't forsee any problems integrating them :-)

superdad: I had a look at this over the weekend. Try removing the NativeUtilities.dll from the bin folder (move or delete, rename won't work). I found this got me further. I had to copy the .mdb file locally, as it didn't want to access it across the network (which is fairly useless), but maybe you can try and get it working across a network share once the silly NativeUtilites issue goes away.

tipstir: check post #71 for build 10. I'm having a play with numatrix's requests at the moment. Is there anything outstanding that you want?

It appears to be fixed in the latest release....or at least I haven't hit anything to cause the scrolling as of yet. Smile
