Huge fan, love the improvements. One tip and one req.

Tip: Is it possible to mention in an update if the mdb file is changed at all (or just making a patch zip, that only has updated files since last version only). It would great for the true believers that are following your dev progress.

Req: Some way to expand or pop up the details. If there was a button to view the details once retireved from the info button, that would make it wife-friendly. I suppose it would need to be scrollable or page up/dn

database, true unzipping it would replace the old one, thats annoying, someone asked if i could put all the databases (thumbnails.mdb, videos.mdb, music.mdb) into one database. so ill do that, ill make one database which you will need to download seperately and notfiy if i modified anything in the database (ill look into making a program that updates the database so you dont need to actually replace it and lose any info ).

ive been thinking for a while to make an info screen, like in xbmc (i suppose its the same in mediaportal, theres just not really a button for this, i might just add a custom command like F9 (not sure if its in use) then just let people assign whatever button they want to it, myself would probably use "#" on the new hauppauge remote. of course now ill need to get more info from imdb.com, so the database will have to be updated, once i do this, ill post a new version, all plugins using the same database just with different tables, but chances are you'll loose everything from the old database this time, but hopefully be the last (i think i can get rating, a longer description a tagline and certification.

good thing you made this request now, in a week ill be back at uni and wont have time for this anymore (well major changes).

major changes to the database, so when i release this you'll have to replace the old one, losing all the info (sorry but no way around this).  im not sure if i should make it so if you press "ok" it takes you to this screen and pressing play just plays the video, or use a special button eg "red" (not blue its in use, but another one, im open to suggestions).

i would prefer the "ok" - way. there are too many buttons to control. why not use the play-button to play a movie? this makes more sense than the other way, i think...

looks great! any hints about the release date?

That is a beautiful thing. I was just thinking the more info pop-up live live, but that is so much more. Looking forward to that.

I'm assuming a manual import of old data via Access is out? Or just that you'll want to redo anyway, to get new info benefits.

No matter. Thx for putting in the 11th hour work. Personally, I think it's step-forward kind of addition.
