I have this problem, and discovered that if I go into a sub folder and then change it, when I click on "back", it will refresh correctly from then on.
I looked in config.xml to see if there was a way to default to list view, it looks like there isn't.

I am able to use this card successfully in GBPVR using graphrecorder. I have installed NVPR and would like to set this up as an analog device, filtercheck logs attached.

However, NVPR only sees it as an ATSC device. Is there anything that I can do to make it recognize it as an analog device?

Thanks

I have no idea if that device will work for analog or not it. It might, but you'd need to get the Hauppauge SoftPVR components from someone, and register the *.ax files, then add the following to your AnalogDevices.ini file:
Code:
    <Device filter="AVerMedia 716x BDA Analog Capture">
        <Name>AVerMedia 716x</Name>
        <Type>SOFT_ENCODE</Type>
    </Device>

Sub,

Thanks for the quick response. Any idea where I might get the Hauppage SoftPVR components?

Well done Azimuth by following your instructions I can again use my NMT (up to a point) with NPVR & I do like the new interface & can't wait until sub sorts all the NMT issues out.

Hi Sub,
sub Wrote:I've put small left/right arrows next to the active list to give a visual indication there is something left/right. The user can also click them.

In the past I had tried the dimmed scrolling list like you described, but it didnt look quite right.

Your solution is simple and solves the problem. Thank you.

Regards,
Ian.

Just another quick question, I only know enough to be dangerous. If I am using a TWC digital cable box, why would I get no channels when I scan?

Thanks Again

Are you trying to scan for digital channels? Your cable box output one analog channel, ie the current tuned channel, so a digital scan wont find any channels.

Forgive my ignorance, is there something else I need to do? I just hit Scan on device setup.

As mentioned earlier, if you dont have the SoftPVR components on your machine, analog support is disabled. Since you're using a set top box, you're getting an analog feed to your machine.

I'm guessing you dont see the Analog 'AVerMedia 716x BDA Analog Capture' device listed on the Devices screen?
