Hello, All.

Just took a look at the new release and it looks and works just fine as far as my usage has gone so far. Thank you, sub et al, for all your great work.

I've noticed new program corner tags in the TV Guide: blue-New continues but I'm also seeing red-Prem and green-Prem. "Prem" is obvious as I would suspect "Fnle"(?) will be but what do the different colors mean?

Red means it's a SERIES premiere or finale. The greens means it's merely a SEASON premiere or finale (it'll also be "FIN" for finale, not "Fnle"). Sub, Martin and I were going back and forth about whether season premieres/finales should be included or if it should be limited to only series events (I was on the series events only bandwagon, as season premieres/finales happen all the time)... and then sub swooped in with the different colors thus settling the debate. I believe my exact quote was "oh, sure, go ahead and come up with a great solution that satisfies everyone... how can Martin and I keep kvetching about it now?" I know, exciting behind-the-scenes details of NextPVR pre-release testing, the drama is palpable even in the retelling!

two additional notes:

1) These tags depend solely on a tag coming from Schedules Direct (which in turn comes from their data provider, which in turn must come from the networks). I've already seen incorrect tags, where the first episode of a series wasn't tagged as a Premiere, and/or the second or third episode was. If you see an incorrect tag, it's not a NextPVR bug.

2) sub said you can delete the image files for the SEASON tags from the TV Guide skin folder if you don't want them tagged. for me, as the season event tags are a subtle green while the series tags that I really care about are bright red, that makes it perfect as-is.
