hello, i am having trouble getting the plug-in installed. it does not appear in gbpvr config’s main menu list. I have installed the plug-in in the “plugin’ folder under gbpvr. I have new data base in ‘gbpvr’. I have ‘CommonGBPVRUtilities.dll’ and ‘UltraID3Lib.dll’ as well. but still see no plug-in. what am I doing wrong?

thanks

with the commongbpvrutilities there are some skin files that are needed as well. I'm picking that as your problem.

Do you run VideoArchive or weather?? They are in there. They haven't been externalised yet.

Or if you don't want those plugins, see the attachment, have Common Dialogs and onScreenKeyboard for Blue and BlueMCE skins.

I'm using the latest non-beta release with gbpvr 95.16 and the bluemce2 skin. This is the most promising music library I have found so far but I only have one problem. Whenever I start playing a song and add other songs to the queue the second song in the queue never starts playing. Could it be something on my end?

Thanks,
KevinG

see earlier in this same thread. It's probably to do with an option in the config.xml that says usewindowsmediaforaudio set this to false.

That should sort out that problem.

I'll get the version 3 out of beta and release it properly, this wont have any effect on that config option though

Hello,

With the last binaries you mention:

Quote:One final thing I've added is ML2 can be used as a screen saver (called ML2Panel). There's some skin changes for that.

I didn't find a Panel in the skin-directories (or an option in the Settings for running as screen-saver).

Could you elaborate a little more?

Ton,

Yeah it's not well documented, and wait for me to release properly, I found that my first implementation on the panel and screensaver was sucking a huge amouunt of cpu. It was my first attempt at a panel, and I didn't do it well.

I have a better one that I'm running, that I haven't posted yet, I'll post it to the wiki.

I doubt i'll add an option at this stage to the config for the screen saver, I just edit the config.xml.

Same with the panel, I didn't create a seperate panel skin to go into panels, rather I have it included in the skin.xml for MusicLibrary2, and it can be activated by adding, or modifying the main menu skin file and adding ML2Panel - use a copy of the music panel entry.

Again wait on this one because this suffers the same fate of using too much CPU and it causes problems.

thanks psycik,
i downloaded (3 times) the attached skin but it fails to open, maybe corrupted?
I’m am not even getting music library2 listed in the main menu section of gbpvr config program, so I think my problem is before the the main program has a chance to skin.
