Thanks for checking tieke and sorry for the confusion. The documentation wasn't clear, I basically just carried it over from the MusicLibrary 3 wiki and I don't remember having this problem in the past but I am glad it worked out.

Hi, finally migrating from GBPVR to NPVR now that MB4 is available. but need some help to get working.

Have MB4 on client machine, database is stored locally , but music is on the server. (20000+ tracks, all working fine on ML3/GBPVR)
Got lots of net errors with the DB it imported from ML3 so have nuked the DB and started again. Now I can get the MB4 screen up, but it is blank with no music showing at all.
Logs folder attached, let me know if theres any other info you need.

Sorry fuzzweed, there is a bug on the import from ML3 function, I got a PM from someone else on the same problem. You are going to need to delete the database file from the NPVR folder and then rescan. Don't delete MusicBox4.xml though or it will reimport the ML3 database.

No need to apologise, I'm chuffed to bits that ml3 has been ported to npvr at all! I already nuked and rescanned from within the settings page but il try deleting the whole db tomorrow and let you know how I get on

Deleting the database has allowed MB4 to start now I just need to work out how it all works !!

The main annoyance in this release version is not being able to use the Play key to queue or select while music is playing. Sub is making changes for the next version which will enable this.

You probably want to get used to the new menu system too.

I'm updating the next blue skin and wanted to add support for music box 4. I was wondering if there was any chance of being able to draw an image in the IconJukebox.xml under the Iconview element. Something like this...

Currently I'm able to generate RoundedRect and Rect images but not a predrawn .png or .jpg image.

This works in the Jukebox.xml file...

Northpole, because there are 3 listboxs this method is not recommended. I added a special element for Jaggy for his unfortunately abandoned BRVE+ skin that could meet your needs.

He's talking about the IconJukebox not the main skin(s) so I don't see how the Backdrop will help him for this??

BTW while I have dropped BRVE+ I have found out I am "totally addicted" <sad or what> to doing some development work so I am currently doing a new slightly different skin, so your effort for adding that hasn't been totally wasted
