Just wanted to add to the cheers..! This is a great release and the upgrade worked like a charm for me. I can confirm the problem with the mini-guide, but I wasn't really using that much anyway..

Thanks sub!

sub i found a bug in the "manual recording" screen, if you press right on the name prefix, the prefix is cleared and you cant get it to come back.

My favourite addition - the 'recording soon' that appears on the main menu Big Grin

Can't get my 'playall' to work in audio though, but not had a look on here for a solution yet Smile

Keep it up sub, you know we love you

I love the new feature of being able to choose to watch the currently recording program instead of the error message, but I'll have to go back to version 12b. I've found it has way too many quirks. Sounds like I have the same symptoms as Herbs had.

- This new version was the first time I've experienced a recording actually been marked "failed".

- Sometimes I'll launch GB and as soon as I see the main menu, it just exits... like I clicked the exit button. No errors are logged in the files that I can see.

- I'll go to watch Live tv and just have a black screen, no sound. I can hit the back button to get back to the menu or tv-guide. I can watch recordings fine. Reboot fixes this.

- The menus are generally slower now, like Joshley pointed out. Can take up to 2or 3 seconds to show me my recordings. (i'm using the new default blue skin). With 12b, almost all the menus where instant.

- Sometimes while stopping a recording or when the recording finishes playing, i'll get an error message that a reference object isn't set or something. Doesn't always happen though.

- If a show is recording, sometimes I can't stop it (unless of course I didn't mean to cancel the recording, then it ALWAYS works (hint hint... are you sure?!?! thread in wish list). I have this problem with version 12b also. Doesn't matter which way I try to cancel the recording, it just doesn't stop. Sometimes restarting the service will kill it, other times a reboot is neccessary.

I've formatted, reinstalled XP Pro SP2, .net 1.1, all the latest nforce drivers, and GB-PVR clean... still have all these issues.

I've you're able to provide logs for these, I'll look at them. Otherwise they are likely to stay this way.

This is usually a sign you've had an error in the recording service.
