To finally get GBPVR happening for me (I've only been using a WinFast TV 2000 XP card and its associated software to date) I need a REAL card (I'm not sure I'm game to try software encoding with this card / my CPU horsepower).
My system : PIII 933Mhz, MSI ATI Radeon 9200SE, with plenty of RAM, HD space etc.
My A/V system : 100cm CRT TV (not widescreen) & surround sound system
My source : free to air SD or HD TV (no cable or satellite) [I currently use a SD STB]
The cards around me are the DViCO or Hauppauge stuff.

Any recommendations at this point? Obviously my TV isn't HD capable.
Is going a HD card overkill?
