Media MVP Beta 3.0.24088

Has anyone seen Media MVP Beta 3.0.24088 that's on SHSPVR.

It installs and add's some new things, however it doesn't seem to work with GBPVR anymore. It also seems like my MVP I tried it on was blurier under GBPVR afterwards.

Wonder if anyone else has tried it or had any luck.

I tried it. It got as far as saying it found the available server and prompted me to save it, but then it wouldn't get past this point and connect with gbpvr's mediaserver . Going back to dongle_25_24023b.bin (which also has the special network server screen) all was OK again, so I'll stick what that for now.

Bit if a shame as by all accounts the folks at the shspvr forum seem to indicate it is much faster.

The startup sequence has been changed in this newer version of the MVP software. I'll update GB-PVR in the next release to support it.

Is there a way to extract just the .bin from the update, without installing other files?

I did not know the shspvr forum existed, thanks for mentioning it. Seems like everyone eagerly awaiting a wireless mvp. I'd much rather have a device that supports several mp4 implementations so we can stop transcoding.

Yup. Open the .exe file with winzip or some other prog and drag and drop the bin files out only.
