Basically I appear to have broken my infrared receiver that worked with my media center remote.

Does anyone have any idea where to purchase a new one cheap if possible (checked ebay and no luck) usb receiver so I can use the remote again? I don't really want to shell out £30 on a full kit + remote as I already have 2 remotes.

Thanks everyone :o

Do you have a picture or model # of the broken item. It may help to see exactly what it is just in case I have what you need. I have a USB receiver that I got with some other kit but have never used it.

I think there are many different ones but this is the official microsoft one (black box on the left)

This is also a HP one which does the same job and which they bundle with their machines.
