I've been using v0.95.16 since early Feb without any problems. In the last week my account expired at Zap2it. So today I extended the subscription another 3 months. I then tried to update my EPG but keep getting the error "Failure in ChannelFactory:: storeChannels(): No current record".

I saw some folks had success by reregistering MDAC and Jet using a utility. I tried that and restarted - no help.

Any other clues? I saw some mention cleaning up one's channel lineup at labs.Zap2it.com. What exactly am I looking to do? Must the channel lineup at Zap2it match the channels selected in GB?

Thanks!
-Mike

How big is your gbpvr.mdb file? If it's really big, can you try clicking the OK button in the config app to see if it shrinks?

It is 1.4 GB. Clicking on OK at the bottom of Config screens does not compact it. Can I use MS Access and compact it?

You can try. I suspect if it is not compacting it is because you're running something that is holding open a connection to the database, so make sure you stop everything GB-PVR related first.

I believe my problems were due to a plugin, DVD2MPEG. Or that I was ripping a DVD to MPEG at the same time as I tried updating EPG. My 1.4GB .mdb file is now only 30MB Smile
