New version of gettrailers.zip

Changes:
Program no longer outputs to screen (This should be a fix for wtg's beeping issue )
Program writes out a log.txt that gets overwritten on every run. If you are having issues please include this output when you ask questions.
Setup the low quality mode to check for trailers in the small.html links first. This should truely get low quality trailers.

Still Todo:
Setup the program to integrate with the theatre plugin to keep trailers if they exist in that directory (per ydekmekji)
Create a days to delete option in the config file so old trailers are deleted if they are that many days old but not in the theater plugin directory (per ydekmekji)
Set an option to get the trailers for all of the movies you have in a set folder. ex. You copied a lot of dvds to your harddrive. You want a directory of previews for those dvds so family members/friends can decide what they want to watch

If I missed a feature you requested please repost of site message me and I will get it in. I should have the "days to keep" feature done some time this week. Then next week I will probably work on the integration with the Theater plugin.

As always if anyone finds a bug or needs a feature request please ask. I don't bite really

For some reason, I cannot run Gettrailers from postupdateepg.bat. I just have it as a scheduled task. It's downloading stuff--but the trailer_history.txt doesn't get updated. It's still empty.

Ok I checked this out on mine running it as a scheduled task for windows and I don't have this issue. So I have a couple of questions.

1) What os are you running. If its XP is it sp1 or sp2
2) Is the scheduled task running as administrator?
3) Make sure the txt files are not read only.

Let me know what you find so I can try to help you out with the problem.
You should also try downloading the new version as it writes to a log file instead of printing to screen. Then you can see if the log file is getting written too or not.

I mean postupdate doesn't do much for me. So instead I have set it as a scheduled task, and that works better.

One more thought is maybe to change the name of config.txt--just cause gbpvr uses several config files. Would it be possible to change the name to GetTrailersConfig.txt

Did Quicktime change something again,

ive been testing it on 3 machines,
and even the one on which this worked fine,is not downing anyting anymore..

i get the following on all 3 machines using getalltrailers (downloaded from the wiki)

I wonder if this utility should be hidden from the wiki to avoid confusion, until it’s updated and working again.
Other than a thread like this, is there a way to report utilities and pluggins that aren’t working?
