Hi,

This is my first post and I am new to GB-PVR using MediaMVP

Please assist me with the following :

1. I notice my menu options that I see on my PC is not the same on my TV.
I selected DVD and Fm Radio but they are ommited from the menu on the TV
2. There is no options for Pictures, if see Videos and Music
3. Are there any hot keys for menu options iso using the up and down arrows on the remote ?
4. When I select Music from the menu, I get a list of my albums with default icons. When I click on the album I see the cover art and when I click on the cover art, all the song titles displays as icons. How do I get it to show me a list instead ?

Hi there, welcome to GBPVR. Will have a shot at answering your questions

1. I don't have an MVP myself but because of the way they work it wont allow DVD or FM radio to be played on it, hence the buttons being hidden. . Having said that I think there is a plugin that can enable DVD playback. Do a forum search or take a look on the wiki.
   
2. There is no built in pictures app, look on the wiki for plugins (I think there are 2 that deal with this)
   
3. Not that I know of. But on certain remotes you have the option of direct access "tv" "music" buttons etc. Once again I dont have an MVP so I don't know what your remote looks like.
   
4. There is an option in the config app called something like "icon view for libaries".

You should be able to listen to FM radio on your MVP if you have a capture card that supports it. I listen to FM on my MVP. You have to install a little app for it to work on the MVP though, can't remember what it is right now a quick search of FM radio in the MVP forums should turn it up. CAn't play DVD directly because of the AC3 sound. XDVD plugin will transcode a DVD's sound on the fly to mpg so the MVP can play it. if you have the 45 button hauppauge remote, the one with guide, pictures ECT. buttins on top, you can link these buttons to any plugin you wish by modifying config.xml.

Hi,

I downloaded the plugin called MusicAlbum.

When I try to select an album I get the following error :

"Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

Any help on this.

I am trying to get a MCE style Music library, ie choose an album (with cover art), then display the play list with no icons.

this is a generic .NET error and doesn't give any useful info.

Are you using the default blue skin - if not try it and see if this fixes the problem then report back

Hi,

I am using the default Blue skin.

The plugin list all my albums on left of the screen. When I highlight an album and press the right arrow key on my remote it crashes.
