I got a PVR-150MCE and i installed all the drivers etc wintv2000.
I go into winTV 2000 but it doesnt pick up any channels. When i go to auto tune it doesnt pick up any channels. I pluged my aerial into it and im in the UK and i followed the instructions on the quick start guide and they are wrong..
it says PAL UK uses PAL I but there is no PAL Is there...

Could anyone give me the settings for wintv2000 autotuner for the UK please?
help..

i put:
Channel By country - United Kingdom
Broadcast/cable - I selected Antenna
Tuner Format - I selected I
Video Format - PAL BGHIDK

Does anyone have any ideas? Been trying to get it work for the past 2 hours but it doesn't pick up any channels at all. When i go into config for GBPVR it detects it but then i go into live TV with a black screen..

Yup, i used the one straight from the Hauppauge website under the PVR150MCE section. Ideas?

Although, i remember letting windows install the TV CARD by the wizzard, i pointed it to the location of the drivers on my hd which i got of the net

When you run the GB-PVR tuning assistant, do you see any channels?

I know it doesnt really help, but you should try to get it working with WinTV2k before trying GB-PVR. If its not working there, I think there will just about be no show it'll work in GB-PVR. If its not working in WinTV2000, its sound like something pretty serious.

Maybe try changing PCI slots and reinstalling the drivers?

Hopefully someone hasnt sold you a dud.
