TV Listings 2 - Support Thread

Hi I am new to GBPVR having just installed it today, everything works well with the TV Listings plugin with pictures and logos etc. The problem is it won't schedule a recording. It just returns to the main menu when I press record using remote or keyboard. I haven't installed sqlite, is this required?

You normally do not need to 'install' sqlite, as it is the default database in gbpvr and should be used by gbpvr if you haven't explicitly changed that.

Are you able to schedule recordings using the default tv guide plugin?

Please set your log level to "debug" and enable "flush log messages to disk" in the config application, then try to schedule a recording. After that, zip and attach your "logs" folder and I have a look.

I think I found the error, it seems that a programme without a genre is causing the exception. I fixed it for the next release, thanks for the report.

I seem to have a problem with installing. Going into config, gives me an error

"Error loading plugin list: System.NullReferenceExeption...bla bla bla" When config come up, all the menus are gone from the plugings tab.

Hi,

the plugin is unable to read out the channels from the database. Do you have some defined? If yes, are you able to use the default tv guide? If yes, you can zip your gbpvr.db3 database and send it to me via e-mail and I'll take a deeper look.

I've fixed the uncaught ecxeption for the next release, but anyway, you won't be able to use the plugin without channels.

There are two features from the Defalt guide that I would like to see on TV Listings:

1 - When "Recording Season" there´s an option to select a automatic transcode profile.

2 - When there´s no epg data for a channels it creates "dummie" shows at every hour saying "Not avaiable" (or something like that).

Got it working. The log were from my testing machine. Didn't have any channels!

At home I got it working. Looks good. I'll be trying it some more and testing the WAF factor!
