Just a semi silly question- still learning the can and can'ts of this ....
Have installed GB PVR to my system- Love it!! Especially once I figured out how to use the Comskip!! Question I now have- Can I install and run on my wifes system- so she can watch what I've recorded on my system via the network (despite having no tuner)?

Yes, look in the forums for GBPVR Network client or GBPVR client server

There is a fairly long thread that details exactly this, and activating the tuners from client (i.e. your wifes) machine.

But certainly just watching is very possible.

I have a setup which uses the network. My main pc has 100Gb or so of mpgs, so I shared the folder they are in, then on the media pc I made a network connection to the remote folder and set it to reconnect at startup. Then in GBPVR config, defined the remote connection in the Video folders list. Works fine over a 100Mb wired network.

You could also do it via the EWA(enhanced webadmin) When you use VLC for viewing you can even watch shows that are still recording. The setup is very easy.
