I am attempting to use gbpvr to run music, video, and internet radio on my home theatre system while still having access to the computer for other uses.
First off here is how my system is setup:
I have a video card with s-video tv out connected to my HT Receiver.
I have my onboard sound with SPDIF digital out connected to my HT Reciever.
I have a SB Audigy connected to computer speakers/headphones.
So far video works perfect. I can scroll to "Video" and watch my videos with picture and sound on my tv while doing anything else even watching a second video with sound on my computer.
The problem is, when I scroll to "Music", no music is output to my home theatre. It is sent to the computer instead.
In order to get the video sound correct I changed the "Software MPEG-2 Playback - Audio Renderer" setting to the correct audio device. I'm assuming that because I'm decoding MP3s it's choosing my default sound device instead of the one I selected here for MP2s. Is there a MP3 Audio Renderer setting I'm not seeing somewhere?
Please help. Once this is working I'll finally be able to practically use this in the living room.
