My Media MVP keeps locking up with 'Application Loading' and never goes any further. In order to get it to even work again, I have to unplug the unit form power and network for five minutes.

I'm a newb at setting up GB-PVR, but it seemed pretty straightforward. I've disabled the hauppauge media MVP services as well as uninstalled the entire program. No luck connecting the Media MVP to my PC with GB-PVR.

It DOES work with the Hauppauge Media MVP program installed.

Any suggestions?

PEACE

Try one of the newer dongle.bin files, perhaps the one from the Hauppauge CD that came with your unit.

Worked for me, same type of issue.

There seems to be a few poeple having connectivity problems with the new release. Can you zip and attach your gbpvr.exe.log files?

I'm sending them all to you, just in case. I cancelled the show I was recording. This is much more important. Thanks in advance for any help

Those logs only include one of the gbpvr.exe.log files, and unfortunately it doesnt show an attempt to boot the MVP. Can you try again, and repost the logs.

I started a thread about this a while back at http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=16303. I believe it has to do with how the MVPs connect to the GBPVR.exe processes and them not connecting both the control and data channels to the same instance. I am going to zip and attach my GBPVR.exe.log files, but the problem I have seen with these is that when autostarting 4 MVP servers, only one of them is able to log.

My best workaround right now is to only autostart one MVP server and only have one MVP server plugged in at any time. Still trying to resist moving backwards.

Here we go again. These are hopefully all the log files. ZaDDaZ, I only have one Media MVP and one PC with a capture card. Am I missing something in your message??

talcum, I'm still not seing the logs I'm looking for. I specifically want the files called:

GBPVR.exe.log
GBPVR.exe-1.log
GBPVR.exe-2.log
GBPVR.exe-3.log
