New feature is that Mixman has graciously agreed to make a few changes to the themepacks to accomodate last minute changes. BaseSkin Themepacks are now supported. More info later.

The best of both worlds.

Every plugin (that is included) is skinned for 100% Appearance Manager and 100% BaseSkin ThemePack compatible.

Actually only the latest ThemePacks are supported. Eventually all will be as soon as MixMan updates them. As I get time, I will post (or maybe MixMan will) a list of compatible ThemePacks.

This is not a replacement for BaseSkin, just a variant.

The differences between this skin and BaseSkin are not very significant for individual plugins.

I have tried to make a unified layout between plugins.
I have boken the ties to the structure of the original MCE2 skin for some of the BaseSkin plugins (no \resources directory).

Very nice work. This is really high quality XLM skinning.
This skin is closer to Blue than BaseSkin in layout, since it uses more screen area for information than BaseSkin.
I would like to have seen more variations of list view backgrounds, but I guess the intention is that it shall be a high contrast skin for use with a TV set.
I think that many will like it if they try it.

I would like to have seen more variations of list view backgrounds, but I guess the intention is that it shall be a high contrast skin for use with a TV set.

Maybe some of Plain Jane's skin effects might fit.

The intention of the "Default" layout is to resemble Blue as much as possible. Blue uses black backgrounds with white outlines for lists and popups. Listviews and popups will be changed when ThemePacks are used so that shouldn't be a problem.

I also went for larger text on buttons and longer buttons where possible to handle longer text strings for other languages or custom tasks.

I will run through and find out what Themepacks work for Chameleon and post my initial finding. I think I might need one more change to the ThemePacks.

Edit: Ignore below, the v2.2 themepacks do include se.png. A patch is still needed.

(Actually it is the CopyTheme.bat, I need there to be a "se.png" in the Main Menu directory at all times for Appearance Manager. Maybe the best solution is to not erase the *.png files in that directory.)[/COLOR]

I will release a Themepack called Advisor.ChameleonPatch which will fix all incompatible themepacks installed into the Chameleon directory. This will have to be run anytime a incompatible themepack is installed.

This file is a patch to fix all ThemePacks currently out to work with Chameleon.

This "theme" must be run from the ThemesManager plugin to fix ThemePacks after they are installed

So will this allow one to 'apply' a BaseSkin theme and then change it using the Appearance Manager?
