Getting somewhere!

How is it possible to fine tune the channels, as I need to do that for a couple, and also the incoming resolution of capture looks really small, how can i make that bigger?

Scott.

Also, when exiting the software, it seemed a bit sluggy. My machine ain't so sluggy! (Althon 2.8ghz/1gb RAM). In the WDM plugin settings, for the Video Encoder, and Audio Encoder both these select boxes are empty, I'd assume that I'm supposed to have something else installed that I don't have, to make those selectable, any ideas?

Scott.

PS: Also, the TV Guide overlay is really pixelated, any ideas on that too? Smile
PPS: Thanks for all the help!

Ultimate output device is to a TV, so it may look pixelated on a monitor. Are you using monitor or TV? Sorry I can't help on the other stuff

Got everythign working great but one thing. When I go to "Live TV" it pops up with an error that says "Incorrect Parameter". And I really don't know where to go next with it?

Thank you, I really appreciate all the help this forum has given me! Smile

Hi guys I'm Alessandro, it's a lot of time that I'm trying to configure this plugin to work with my video card and finally I decided to ask you a few things ...
I don't have any capture card. I've only an avivo video card (so I can record from the video in input) and I would like to use gb pvr to schedule recordings from my video in input where I've connected a digital decoder (with a composite cable).
Don't need to change channel because the decoder is programmed to switch on at the right channel.

I've tryed to use Gb Pvr then and it seemed to me that I've to use the software rercorder plugin too.
Is it right? Do you confirm me that it will work?
It's more than one week that I'm trying to configure the plugin but I get some errors (wdm option; by the way what is difference between the two different wdm options?).
I've installed the suggested avivo video converter and I can see and choose in the shot of the plugin the audio and video avivo encoder.
I can also see the preview of the video stream but when I try to rec I get an error or I can start recording but I don't get any file.
I think I probably made a mistake to configure the plugin.
I also would like to know if there's any chance to configure the epg service to work with my configuration.
I dont' see any menu to change the time and the date of a recording so I don't understand how I can schedule it without use the epg service.
I'm a little bit confused anyway I hope you'lle be able to help me.
Sorry for my elementary english Smile
Bye
Alessandro
