This sounds like a permissions problem. You might try reinstalling your software using the same account that you are using for the GBPVR service logon account. I'd probably start with the driver.

You might find that when migrate to GB-PVR the source's ID changes (the testing tool assumes 1 on load - but you can change it easily because it's in a textbox). If that happens you can always just change the ID in the xml file.
I did what you said. I'm not able to figure how get it working.
What I need is that the program recognizes the Hauppauge WinTV 88x Audio Capture and pit it in the possible choice as audio capture device. Until then it would be impossible to establish a link between the crossbar and the audio renderer.
Thanks again for the effort.
<<ad>>
What I need to add is the Audio Capture Device:
@device:pnp:\\?\pci#ven_14f1&dev_8811&subsys_94020070&rev_05#3&61aaa01&0&99#{65e8773d-8f56-11d0-a3b9-00a0c9223196}\{5ea9c068-1dfe-41c5-a2de-00a0c9f21fc7}
that have: Audio input - Audio output
I2S coming from the Video Capture Device has to link to the Audio input of the Audio Capture Device
and
Audio output of the Audio Capture Device has to link to the Audio input pin (rendered) of the Audio renderer:
@device:cm:{E0F158E1-CB04-11D0-BD4E-00A0C911CE86}\SoundMAX Digital Audio

Last night while trying to get the card working I messed up the GBPVR SQLlite database and wasn't so easy to get it back alive.
Anyway if I input manually the Audio Capture Device Graphedit shows it but is unlinked.
That's all before last try that destryed the DB.
Still trying (with DB backed up!)

David,

Thanks for the reply. I agree, it sounds like a permissions problem but I don't know how to get around it so that Live TV can co-exist with shared network drives.

I tried reinstalling the ATI drivers but I can't get it to work. If I change the GBPVR Recording Services to my windows account and password, I lose the tuner. I can switch back and forth and it comes and goes.

I've been going thru the forums wrt to network shared folders and just can't find a way to get that to work without changing the login to the GVPVR Recording Services. I tried entering the shared folders directly into config.xml and that didn't help either.

Finally I made Hauppauge HVR-1100 get sound out.
Attached is the Config-recorders.xml.
Still working because is a preliminar configuration to be considered as unstable.

did you try mapping the drives you wish to access?
i think that was a workaround...[tho extra work]
oh yea, try running the mvp server as a user...eg. "gbpvr.exe -mvpmode" instead of auto from config..
best of both worlds..Smile
also affects x-view remote too...

Manual server works for the shared files but then I have trouble with netradio (works sometimes and sometimes not). Also, Sub doesn't recommend we use that, back a few versions I read he might remove it from GBPVR (automatic will reset itself with a power cycle on MVP).

I haven't tried manual server yet with SoftwareRecorder. SoftwareRecorder doesn't show up under 97.9.

I wasn't really going to worry about it until I resolved my other problem. I just wanted to indicate that the other person was not alone. When I converted, I saw a message next to the existing software recorder source saying (broken plugin...) the same as previously posted in this thread. I deleted that source, and then could not add it back again.

I just popped for the new motherboard/cpu combo I was looking for, so will start with a fresh install. I will post logs if I continue to have this issue or the issue I have with multiple KWorld ATSC 110 (DBA driver based) cards.

Oh, I guess it is possible they are somehow related, as I am using the software recorder plugin to access the analog side of the ATSC 110 cards

I'm using an ATI TV Wonder Pro with SR 2.7. This version worked with GB-PVR 0.97.7 but not with version 0.97.9

The WDM Plug-in does not appear in the Recording Source selection window so there is no way to set it up.

Thanks for your help.
