Has anyone developed a GBPVR plugin for misterhouse? Or maybe some other general X10 stuff like lights or cameras?

It'd be nice to have an X10 plugin so I could switch the view to one of my X10 cameras or turn on a light, etc. I was thinking about trying this and didn't want to re-invent the wheel if someone else had started down this path already.

I at one point started writting one for lights with scripting and scheduling but got side tracked on a major consulting project that took all my free time since then. I did plan to add some X10 camera options but have not delved into that area yet. I was writing it from scratch to talk to the X10 interfaces dirtectly, so I will not be interfacing to MisterHouse. I do plan to get back into it again on December 1st. I jumped into a CD/DVD burning plugin project until then.

Did this ever get anywhere? I'd be interested in x10, xAP or xPL integration if somebody has it working.

I'd also love to see a plup such as this. I've been using Homeseer for quite a while now and i know there is a plug for this between some versions of MCE and Homeseer, I believe Stack 9 does it. It's of course very propritiary and i'd love to see a link between GB-PVR and Homeseer. I would be nice to be able to control a light or two or bring up a Homeseer screen over my MVP.

Back in December I searched the forum for the word Homeseer, and found no posts.

Anyway, I did a plugin -- really simple -- that I use from my MVP (only). It presents some buttons and when one is clicked it sends a message to Homeseer (different PC than GB-PVR) to run a Homeseer event.

If anyone is interested in trying it, please let me know, I'd be happy to share (support may be another story, but ... Wink ).

I'd be happy to try it out. I also only use GB-PVR thru the MVP, i do however keep GB-PVR and Homeseer on the same machine if that makes a difference. I also haven't updated to HS2 just yet either, i'll wait till they get a few more of the bugs out before i make that leap.

OK NW, give me a couple of days to do some clean up (i.e. figure out what I did) and I'll post up the dll.

My gbpvr plugin talks to Homeseer through George P's excellent hsGirder plugin, you will need that too.

As for HS2, no guarantees this will work with it ... I'm waiting for SP1 given the discussion on that board. Have to finish building the new HS2 box before even testing it, seems the trusty P1-166 does not look like a good platform for HS2 ... Smile

No rush there dave. I've set up a few buttons on my remote to control lights with the usb-uirt and it's plug to HS.

nightwalker ... OK, cleaned up, figured out what I did, tested a little, wrote some documentation.

I've attached what I'd call a Beta, let me know if it's any use to you. All the required files are in there.

Recap ... let's GBPVR send event trigger requests to Homeseer. Homeseer may be on a different machine (technically anywhere).

Anyone else here wants to try, please do. I'm currently trying to figure out how the new interface IVideoPlugin works so I could do this while the recorded show was playing ... if there is interest I will share.
