Digital TV and the 'red button' ??

Is it possible to access DVB-T interactive services via the MVP when using GBPVR ?? (ie press red on BBC freeview ..)

I know it's not and doubtful it's even possible, but I see that the BBC in the UK is starting to use it more and more to deliver alternative programming. Seems to be mainly sport at the moment. You can't even use a programmable remote as the stream isn't there on the menu until it's online so you don't know which keypresses are needed to get there!. Argggggggggh.
