New Tool: ShowBurner DVD Burning [with menus]

check out the background.jpg in the showburner dir for what it will look like and something to burn for a quick dvd cover. it is making yours so it should be there.. add rem to beginning of the line:

del /q menu_background.mpg

in burndvd.bat and you'll be able to see the menu_background.mpg in there too..[just click to play it]
everything else looks like it's working from the logs..

Ok. Still no joy.

It creates the video_ts files in subdir off of dvdtmp\tmp1\video_ts\{assorted files}

An audio_ts (dvdtmp\tmp1\audio_ts) is also created but its empty.

ahhh.ok..it *did* create it...try playing the directory with a dvdplayer...
finaly problem was with nerocmd...
what version do you have of nero?
[certain versions didn't have one of the options]
almomst there...you could burn that dir as dvd-video with nero and it would work..
let me kow if it plays for you from dir. and what ver. Nero you have so i can adjust..

try removing --dvdvideo_realloc from nero line...seems older versions didn't have it..[i think it was on by default,so not needed] [tested with nero7]

oh and you can leave the echo off...all good stuff still gets echoed to command line..[and less messy..it's just duplicates]

thanx for the help debugging...will fix that and the dir creation...for next version with comskip chapters..

nero is 6.6.15 (OEM version). The TS files play ok.

I'll try removing the parameter and get back to you.

does the dir play with a software dvd player?
[or try clicking on video_ts.ifo in the dvd dir..]
most decent players can handle a dvd dir to play..
no errors at end so looks like everything made it...except for burn..
also a listing of files in output ir would be helpfull..
[would tell me what parts didn't make it,if any]

access denied...you may be running it as non-admin user...
[nero doesn't like that]
there's something called nero burnrights you may need to run..
[it gives all users burning rights]
so you say it plays fine from the dir? cool..
should be that security issue then..

I found some of the parameters for nero were wrong. I think I changed them all but still not working.

My dvd drive is e not f so I changed that parameter as well.

The txt file attached shows all the nero parameters as well.

I am an admin user so I don't think its permissions.

video_ts file pays OK in windows media player.
