I just installed V0.97.9. When I click on Live TV, I get the sound of a channel, but no picture.

What do I need to do to get the picture also? Have I got something wrong in Config? I have a Hauppauge 250PVR card.

What video decoder do you have selected on the Playback tab of the config app?

Do you have another video decoder option you can choose? This sort of problem is most often related to the video decoder, so this is typically the first thing I'd check.

Yes, I have three choices:
System Default
Intervideo NonCSS Video Decoder
Intervideo Video Decoder

But none of them work. Is there a way to get more choices?

You can download a free decent one from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/gplmpgdec

If that still doesnt work, zip and attach your gbpvr.exe-native.log and I'll check your logs.

Sub,

Thanks. I downloaded and installed MpegDecoder012.msi from your suggested link. It works! Now I can get pictures on Live TV.

But why? When I had GBPVR V 0.96.12 installed, the Intervideo decoders work just fine. Did I break something while installing GBPVR 0.97.9, or is there a problem with 97.9?

Thanks for the help.

The intervideo decoders still work here, so I'm guessing something else on you machine is interferring with them. I dont know what though.
