@rud

Try this. Make a copy of the mp2enc.dll (in the path BeSweet) and rename the file to toolame.dll

@user

I tried it, but no difference.

In a cmd- Window it looks like this:

D:\Temp>D:\Programme\pvr\Tools\Besweet.exe -core( -input "D:\Temp\audio.ac3" -output "D:\Temp\audi
o.mp2" -logfilea "D:\Temp\BeSweet.log" ) -azid( -c normal -g 0.95 -L -3db ) -toolame( -m s -b 192 -e
)
BeSweet v1.4 by DSPguru.

I thought toolame was an mp3 encoder but its been a while since i have used that. Anyway, I would suggest downloading the GUI interface for BeSweet and do the encoding through it and figure out the command line it is using.

The other thing with mplex is i think i would usea differ value to -f. There are some other values which create a more compliant DVD stream but maybe its all down to preference [Image: smile.gif]

I'm also having the same problem, ie.
**ERROR:  File D:\Temp\audio.mp2 unrecogniseable!
and I think I've determined the cause.

In order for MPLEX to work, the audio needs to be in MPEG 1 layer-2 format. If the audio is in MPEG 1 layer-3 format, then MPLEX won't recognize it.

You can check the format of the audio file by playing it in WinAmp and then bringing up the properties screen.

In order to encode layer-2 you need TOOLAME.DLL as the encoder. Unfortunately BeSweet only comes packaged with LAME.DLL which is a layer-3 encoder.

If anybody knows where to download a working version of TOOLAME.DLL please post the link!

I tried the link from Doom9 but that gets me TOOLAME.EXE not TOOLAME.DLL and I don't think BeSweet will use the EXE version. But I haven't tried it yet, so I could be wrong here.

I am using Besweet 1.5b29.

I generated the command line to use using Besweetgui 0.7 b4

I have lame_enc.dll and I've been able to encode everything for use with the MVP.

It is clear that many people are having problems, but I'm not sure that Besweet is the cause.

Is the plug-in working for anyone other than me and pancapangrawit? Is anyone else using it with the MVP?

Thanks Jeff,

i tried it with besweet 1.5b29 and it works. The audio.mp2 is in layer-2 format.
And so the mplex - Step is OK.
Before i worked with besweet v1.4, which is on the web-site referenced in the pdf-doc of the plugin.
Thanks very much. The plugin is realy useful.

Ah yes... the problem is with BeSweet... I too initially had v1.4 and it wouldn't work but if you get 1.5B29 you too will be money.
