Thanks, that helped. Now I'm on to the next problem, but I won't post about it until I look through all 110 pages of this one first!

Has anyone heard from normanr in a couple weeks?

Hopefully everything is ok, and he just took a vacation. Smile

rowle1jt: Yea, I'm fine - just lying low - got other non-GBPVR stuff I'm working on.

I asked sub to make a change to the plugin loading code, and it seems to have caused some issues. There is a 'fix' for it in the 0.97.9 survival guide. I have yet to install 0.97.9 (or the fix), to figure out what's really causing the issue.

batisgrulla: your logs look a bit empty, can you try and reproduce the error using gb-pvr.

Thanks normanr!

I am on 96.12 right now. So I will try a fresh install of 97.9 and then use the fix. Thanks again! Smile Big Grin

Thanks for the interest.
I'll try soon and I'll post new logs.

I am trying to use this plugin to get my ATI HDTV Wonder card to work. I have been able to view live TV, but whenever I try and record a show I just get audio only. I am sure it is something simple I have configured wrong, but I am having trouble figuring it out. I tried searching this forum for "ATI" but didn't find a solution to my problem.

I am running version 0.95.16 to avoid the 0.97 problems.

Here is a capture of my setup screen, maybe it will shed some light.

I noticed people like to have log files, but there are like 22 logs in my gbpvr folder, which ones are of interest?

Thanks for any help.

I got everything going with the new versions (97.09 and software recorder 27). I can even schedule recordings and they seem to work... atleast something I scheduled to record is currently recording. Smile

BUT, when I record something, I get the file, but I can't play it. Do I need a special player or something. Even in GB-PVR when I press "play" nothing happens....? Can't I get a regular MPEG-2 video file from GB-PVR?

Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks!

GB-PVR produces regular MPEG-2 files. I'm not sure what this plugin produces though. I think it is supposed to generate MPEG-2 files, but it may depend on the encoder you're using.
