This is my first post and it's not just a simple "How do I...", so please read on.
I have several MPEGs created by GBPVR from my Hauppauge Win-TV-Nova-USB2 freeview Rx that I've burnt to DVD using Ulead DVD Workshop 4. The whole process worked fine but I've noticed that I've lost some of the original MPEG!
If I compare a frame from the MPEG with the same frame from the DVD, then what I see on the TV is slightly zoomed in - I've lost part of the top, bottom and sides of the video. I'm guessing that is because part of the original MPEG is now in the screen area reserved for the front/back porch and teletext information.
If that's the case, then how do I get to see all the image? Is there an app that can add borders to an MPEG thereby forcing the active part of the image into the visible part of the screen?
Also, was this "border" not present in the original video stream - where has it gone?
Many thanks,
Mark.
