Two channels in EPG source data - how to tell difference?

In my EPG source I have C4 listed twice....and it looks like in my channel setups (Telstra box and PVR500) I'm using both of them.

They both have the same display name, any way I can figure out which on is being used and restrict them all to only one of them?

Actually funnily enough for both of them there is an episode tomorrow night and they both have different episode names...

do you have dvb-s selected as one of your sources?
how do you get your epg is what i mean

No I don't have dvb-s but the epg feed I get comes from there.

Sub will know what I mean

In theory it should only have created a new channel if their name was slightly different. Do all capture sources get their listings from the same xmltv file?

I'd try deleting C4 on all capture sources, then do an 'Update EPG' on all capture sources to see if it rights itself.

Yeah they but when you look though the listing file there is c4.freeview.tv and c4.sky.co.nz

Well I couldn't get that working, no matter what I did. It seemed to duplicate the recordings.

Good example was Shorty Street. There were always two entries with the same description - even when I only had a TV2 on one tuner - it was still getting picked up from the xml file. There were also two other entries but they seemed to come from tvnz6 so they didn't worry me.

I wonder if its slight different for you with the same source because you have analog devices in your machine wheras I only have digital devices (DVB-C + DVB-S, which are mapped to digital).
