Problem with Theater Listing

I ran into the same thing, it's my first installation, so I thought it was just me. I've edited the batch file with my zipcode, and manually run it, appears to connect and retrieve info, but the Theater listing screen still says no shows...
I'll have to look at the log later, but if there's no official 'Error' I'm not sure what I'll be looking for.

This little plug-in would really add to the WAF (wife approval factor)

Something has changed. The individual xml files for each movie are no longer being downloaded by getTheaterListings.exe.

I don't know how active jorm is anymore. I have seen that he is back, but he might have his plate full with other plugins. Maybe some other developer can look at the source code and check into it? I just tried it to double check my skin and it falls down as well.

Fla did some bug fixes, maybe he would be so kind as to pick up the torch?

Plus a few things seem hard coded skinning wise, but that is another topic.

I used the plugin about a week or two ago and it worked with 97.9. As soon as the wife stops using the PVR I'll test my installation to see if it is broken. If it is then it's a good bet Fandango has changed something.

Mine is doing this now too. I'm thinking Fandango changed something as my theater plugin was working perfectly, even after the upgrade to 97.9, now it does not work. The xml file doesn't contain any data aside from what looks to be the start of an initial entry. Is Jorm around anywhere to shed some light on this?

I downloaded the source from the Wiki and have imported the files for the GetTheaterListings.exe console app to a project. I will play around with it and see if I can get it working. I don't have a lot of free time (especially when the wife gets annoyed when I spend all my free time on the computer =X) so I don't know when I will be able to get it working, but I will try.

Well at first glance, it appears that Fandango has changed the way the movie listings are presented in html. I stepped through the html parsing and it successfully grabs the theater name, but then it dies on grabbing the movie information. I will muck around in here some more and see if I can hack something together real quick for everyone.

I too experienced the same thing...then I got it working again by replacing the GetTheaterListings.exe with an old version dated 6/11/05 from the old wiki site...

Same issue here........................theatrelistings just stopped retrieving listings. Yes I agree about the WAF acceptance factor, she shows that feature to everyone.
