I have been running gbpvr on a dedicated box consisting of an amd athlon-xp 1600, with 512 ram....and a 200 gig 7200 rpm hard drive just for storage. I just picked up a spare machine from a friend that has a faster proc(2.8 pentium) but less ram (128 MB- but i might have another stick of 128 for it). I'm looking for some feedback as to whether gbpvr seems to benefit more from proc, or ram....since i've been thinking of moving it over to this intel machine. On that same note, anyone done a move to another computer and been able to basically clone gbpvr, or will i have to do a fresh install and lose the link to all my recordings and settings?
p.s.- all the other hardware will be moved over....since the intel machine is just cpu-ram-and motherboard, but windows will have to be re-installed obviously, hence my dilemma.
