Hi

Have an old P3 1000 that i use as a HTPC, to get some live tv i bought Hauppauge-win-tv-nova-t-pci.
When i start wintv2000 (default tv viewing app from hauppauge) my cpu goes 100% and it skips frames,
the same thing happens when i try tv in GB-PVR. Then i tried myTheatre, the cpu load was 30% and the
picture perfect! Now - is it possible to use myTheatre´s codec or drivers when i want to view tv with
GB-PVR?

What videor decoders are you using with GB-PVR? Are you using VMR or Overlay?

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your gbpvr.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Ok, have the log file here, hope you can get something out of it. BTW now i saw this error message when pressing "exit" from live tv viewing in GBPVR don´t know if it´s relevant but.. "Error:Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

The CPU usage is probably something to do with the "bitcontrol® MPEG-2 Video Decoder" being used on your machine. I dont remember having seen any others using this. You'd probably better off using a common decoder like those from Intervideo or Cyberlink.

You may also want to try switching to Overlay instead of VMR. Older hardware often copes much better with this.

The MyXxxx plugins are known to do this. If you dont have any of those installed, try reproducing it and post your gbpvr.exe.log and I'll take a look.
