I'm using the current version of GB-PVR, a PVR-150 with remote/IR Blaster Windows XP Pro SP2 and a Turtle Beach Rivera sound card. Everything seems to be coming along well, but this problem I'm having with controlling the volume. If i dont have GBPVR open my remote moves windows master volume. When GBPVR is open this doesn't work. The thing thats really confusing is that the volume control seems to work when I'm watching TV but not when I'm listening to music or playing a DVD.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Thats correct...

and easy to change. Open the irremote.ini file from the windows system directory and at the very end you will find the GBPVR section. In this section delete the entries for volume controll and the remote will always controll the windows master volume.

Remember that GBPVR has still its internal volume controll. I set this to max with the + key on the keyboard and leave it as such.

there are several more neat tricks you can do tweaking the irremote.ini file. Just search the forun for more info.

That worked great thanks for help.
O and for anyone else using turtle beach sound cards, you have to uninstall the applications thing that comes with the drivers and just leave the drivers.

EDIT Maybe I spoke to soon, now the volume for the tv doesn't work at all but the music works fine :-\ o and I'm not using any plugins(I did a clean install this morning).
Thanks Again.

EDIT 2:Ok when watching tv i was able to get the volume working because I guess the internal volume wasn't up at all(are there seperate internal volumes for each section?).
