I'm new to gbpvr so I'm not sure this should work or not. I am using win2k with a hauppauge pvr 150 with the tv hooked up to the composite out. Everything works great except I don't have any OSD. Should I?

If you're trying to use the Cyberlink decoder with VMR, this combination will result in no OSD unless you add some Cyberlink register settings to enabled VMR support (google for 'Cyberlink EnableVMR9').

I forgot to mention that only the overlay manager works. From the forum that appears to be a win2k issue. Using the overlay manager and win2k and tv out with the Hauppauge 150, should I be able to have an OSD?
Thanks.

What card are you using for the TV out? Does that tv out normally show the desktop if GB-PVR is not running?

There are some cards that have some sort of funny 'theatre mode' which means only video get sent video out. In this situation, you'll probably get no OSD. You'd need to change the video card to a different mode get OSD.

I'm using a Radeon 7000 card made by ASUS.
The desktop does show on the tvout.

Can you reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your gbpvr.exe-native.log? I see if I can see anything obvious. Nothing springs to mind though.

Nothing particularly obvious in the logs. You could try running:

regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\OvTool.dll"

It might help.

I saw that in another post and I had tried that already. I was going to try and turn off VNC in case that somehow messes with it. Otherwise I will try to uninstall and reinstall. Thanks for the help.

Thanks.
