I installed MusicPlayer2 (latest version in Wiki) and the db in MusicLibrary2DB.zip (I'm using MSAccess) into GBPVR .9713.

When I try to scan the directory with the mp3 files I get an error "Unhandled exception...Could not load file or assembly 'System.Data.SQLite"... If I try to continue GBPVR Config freezes. No mp3 tags are read. The last lines of config.exe.log reads

The default GBPVR Music Player has no problems scanning the same directory and reading the tags.

Any ideas?

The complete config.exe.log is attached

Hmm, I wonder if I need a recompile since sub changed the SQLLite Version for 97.13. I haven't gone to that yet since it was only released today. I'll get back to you....

Hmm, ok, yes it is the new version of SQL-Lite. And it doesn't look like I can make the plugin accept both versions. If you've upgraded to 97.13 then ML2 wont work. And if i recompile for the new version then ML2 wont work for pre 97.13 versions...... I might need two versions for a while.

Here's a version of ML2 recompiled for the new SQL-Lite version that sub posted with 97.13 - so only Install this version if youre on 97.13 or it wont work!! Sorry.

EDIT: Removed the attachment - see post 148 for the new patch....

I'll leave here for a couple of days, then I may post on the wiki.

I did not get it to work with this patch either. My config.exe.log looks similar to the one of Mikepl. I noticed that in the plugin-configurator the directory paths and collection paths are not being saved.
(I did a complete deinstall of GBPVR 96.12 before installing this version. I deinstalled all plugins, and finally manually deleted all plugins from the plugin directory. I did change to the SQLlite database instead of sticking to Access)
Log attached.

Yes you were right there was a bug there. I've fixed it, when creating a db it wasnt creating the tables. Has been fixed (and includes the previous bug fix).

Sorry about that.

New fix posted....

Damn, your timing is impeccable! I was just about to go to sleep for the night after futzing around with the wiki version for the past hour. Now I get to stay up even longer! (Close to 5 a.m. here...)

I'll stick it in the wiki tomorrow (it's 9 pm Saturday here), after I update to 97.13 myself.
