Sorry, I dont really have any suggestions, but I do know that this not really a task GB-PVR was designed for. You can either have no delay but interlaced, or short delay with fully deinterlaced picture. Gaming really needs the best of both of these - no delay, fully deinterlaced. Older software cards (bt878 etc) are better suited to this type of task.
If you're lucky you might be able to install ffdshow, set it to deinterlace the picture, then set GB-PVR's live preview deinterlacing to 'ffdshow'. There is still likely to be some short delay, but it should be much shorter than encoder pass through.

What have you configured LiveTV-Preview Deinterlacing to?
um I'm no sure where that is
Are you using FFDShow post-processing?
i am not
What screen resolution are you using?
1280x1024, my screens native resolution, my monitor will not go to a resolution that matches the screen size but ive lowered the res of GB-PVR and it hasnt help
What type of interface are you using to your LCD display?
VGA, my monitor does not support DVI

Turning on Encoder Pass in no way helps the interlacing issue, Alparysoft Deinterlacing Filter does the best job from what i can tell but its still not perfect(it causes no lag though) but that being said, what app would you recomend running games on since the interlacing is only really happening in games

It will, but it can depend on what video decoder you use, and if the decoder is set to leave the video interlaced. For virtually everybody, this setting will produce a deinterlaced picture without having to change any further settings.

Only the 'none' and 'encoder pass through' options do anything by default. The other options 'ffdshow raw video filter' and 'Alparysoft Deinterlacing Filter' are exactly the same as 'none' unless you install their respective third-party components (Alparysoft or ffdshow filters).
then it's all in my head that alparysoft is helping, Interlacing control is set to auto in both Catalyst Control Center and in my video codec(cyberlink)
Also post a screen shot with it set to encoder pass through, so we can be sure we're really talking about interlacing problems still. It may be something else you're seeing.
