OLEDB Provider Not Specified

I've just upgraded to 97.13 and converted my DB. I'm now getting an error message "OLEDB Provider Not Specified. ..." under the following circumstances
1. Using the Exit/Back button to leave Live TV back to the Main Menu
2. Opening the Configurator program

In addition, in the config program there are no Plugins showing despite the fact that the plugins I had in the previous installation are active on the menu. However, some of them do not work, Shutdown for example takes an error no matter which option I choose and on clicking OK dumps back to the Main Menu. On the otherhand Weather seems to work fine.

I saw this error reported earlier in the forum but it appears it was not resolved.

In this case, your error seems be cause by the MyVideos plugin.

If this is your first v0.97 release installed (.net 2.0 etc), then you'll probably need to update or remove many of your plugins.

I removed all the plugins and reinstalled updated ones I use. That seems to have solved the problem in the configurator.

However, I still get the OLEDB Provider error when I exit Live TV to the Main Menu.

Post your logs again and I'll take another look. Are you sure you didnt reinstall a broken MyVideos again?

I installed the Myvideos direct from the web site.

I'll restart and forward the logs again in a few minutes

Sorry, but you errors are still relating to the MyVideos plugin. I cant help you with these errors. You're probably best to post a MyVideos question in the plugin and skin support forum.

Thanks. For now I have removed myVideos and this appears to have cleared it up. I will refer the question to the plugin support forum.
