You can renumber the channels on the channel tab in the config program.

But the channels and numbers there are fine - only in the Guide - how and why did they sort by name?

This happens on both the Guide from the executable as well as on the web admin interface.

Well, today I logged on from work, and it is now sorted by channel ?!?!?!?!? I wonder if Zap2It had problems!?

I upgraded to the newest version of GBPVR and I now too have this problem. I use zap2it and it was always sorted by channel number (which is how I like it). Now it is sorted by the station's name... I'm not sure if it is just by chance that the upgrade of GBPVR and this problem occurred at the same time. I tried updating the EPG, but no luck. Anybody got an idea on how to change the sorting? Thanks

There is no logic in the app that sorts the channels in alphabetical order.
zip and email your database (either gbpvr.mdb or gbpvr.db3) to me at support@devnz.com and I'll take a look. There was a bug in v0.97.9 and v0.97.7 that could cause duplicate zap2it channels to be created, which made the order seem up the whack. As far as I know though, this was resolved with a patch in v0.97.9, and fine for v.97.13. If you're running v0.97.13, you may have just noticed the damage already done by an earlier version?

I am experiencing this problem of sorting by channel name as well. I upgraded to the 97.13 (from 97.9), and there is no difference.

There was a bug in v0.97.7 and v0.97.9 that could cause this to happen. v0.97.13 stops this problem from happening, but you need to manually remove any duplicate channels that were created in these previous builds (or recreate your capture source)
The easiest way to fix this - You could probably just delete your capture source in the config app. They restart the config all, go the channels tab, and click the 'remove unreferenced channels' button. Then setup you capture source again. It should be right from then on. |
