Fuzzy Image with VMR

I have just noticed that my DVD std mpg's are really fuzzy when playing using VMR. They sharpen up considerably when using Overlay Manager. I currently use Intervideo non CSS vid and audio decoders.

Still photos are really sharp with VMR and OM.

I've no problem with using OM but wondered if there was a reason for the VMR focus problem?

Most graphics cards do a slightly better job with Overlay than VMR.

There is no GB-PVR specific setting that will help this, but you may find a different video decoder will do a better job with VMR than your current one.

Thanks for that, sub. I will stick with Overlay, as it is very noticeably sharper.
