Dude...seriously... I already have a pvr setup..IM building a new one.. I know you need a graphics controller.. You dont need onboard graphics! You can buy a graphics card!

I know what an amplifier does..Im asking if this is the right application of that specific amplifier..

i was just saying since this doesnt seem to be any form of gaming system, it'd be alot cheaper to get integrated graphics

Yeah to recycling threads !

I have 4 parts picked out now...

Motherboard
Case
Ram
CPU

512mb ram ddr400
Sempron 64+ 3100+
Plain black case
Asus nforce 3 motherboard

Planning on adding divco fusion rt lite 5 or just rt

Recycling
CD R/W ;DVD R/W Drive
160gb HD
XGI Volari V3XT Video Card

Does that seem like enough "grunt" to record hdtv, and eventually watch it...

I hope to hear how it goes for you with the HDTV OTA once everything is setup. My setup is one step below yours. I was thinking of getting the HDTV Wonder also.

Well if you plan on ordering it. I would suggest ordering it before the 10th. Right now its 90 dollars, but comes with a 20 dollar mail in rebate if ordered before the 10th. So its only 70 dollars!

newegg.com is the place to go! Not trying to plug them..but ive never had a problem with them. I've purchased nearly 1000 dollars worth of computer parts through them, never had one problem!

And i just realized..I have around 700 put in to my pvr now Big Grin!!!

I do remember seeing it on sale. Sub doesn't believe my system is up to par. I did replace my 1700+ with a 2600+ so maybe that makes a difference. You and I will have the same video card. I would rather be sure I can use something before I buy it.

I buy from newegg when the price and product are right. I also use B&M stores with rebates. http://www.pcalchemy.com has good stuff too. I just bought an MCE remote from them because I found out my PVR-150mce disables my PVR-350 IR. I had bought the PVR-150mce from Newegg. Newegg doesn't sell the remote separately either. I also bought a quiet PSU from PCalchemy. My laptops have HDDs from Newegg, but I usually get HDDs from B&M because that is the cheapest way with rebates.

If I find out I can use the HDTV Wonder with no problem then I will sell my PVR150mce with the MCE remote and buy the HDTV Wonder when it is back on sale from anyone.
