No Sound In Recordings!

I have used GB-PVR for 5 months now and everything is great. I moved and had to re setup a new zapits lab thing for the right channels and also got an IR200L for the sattelite box. It changes channels well and everything. BUT!!! I have sound in Live TV but not in the recordings. I tryed hitting + in GB-PVR to make sure that it wasn't the problem. I also tested the video files in winamp, windows media player, and divx player and still no sound. So it has to be the recordings.

I am a newbie so help me please!!! I searched the forums and nothing.

I have searched the forums for hours and nothing that has helped.

I have XP Pro
with a sound blaster audigy gamer sound card
and a ATI TV Wonder Elite Card

I would post the error logs but I do not know how too but have seen others do it in the forums.

From the sticky post:

The logs are found in c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr directory (unless you installed to another place).
You need winzip or another zip program (windows explorer in XP right click and send to Compressed Folder") to zip up all the files that end with .log in that directory.
Then in your post you hit "Go advanced" in the forum, then you can attach files with the button "manage attachments".

Also I recently have been having problems all of a sudden with live TV. The screen is black but sound is there...

I'm not really sure why, but you're getting the follow message in your logs:

22:17:38.359 VERBOSE FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: ATI AVStream MPEG2 Multiplexer

Have you changed drivers recently?

What video decoders are listed as options on the playback tab of the config app?

no, only thing i did was uninstall the previous PVR program i had that came with the card. Could that be the problem.

The Video Decoder listed is: default, or CyberLink Video/SP Decorder

I've always used default before.

Maybe. Its strange that this ATI component would not be on your machine.

I re-installed the software CyberLink PowerCinema 3.0 - ATI Edition and LiveTV video seems to be working now... Its really kind crappy that I have to have that program installed in order for the card to work with other PVR systems. I have some recordings coming later today and hopefully it will have sound with them. I'll let you know.
