I've just got back and upgraded to 97.13 yesterday. I've noticed this evening that if I have gbpvr open on the PC, not full screen (I do most of my pvr work via the MVP) that every 5 seconds my mouse cursor disappears. If I wiggle the mouse around the pointer appears in the top left of the gbpvr window and I can drag it back out again to another window. However, 5 seconds later it goes away again.
I currently have pending recordings for most of the next 12 hours, so can't restart the service or reboot to see if that sorts it out. Anyone come across anything similar?

cheers, Martin

update after a little testing. If I'm just at the menu with no video, then the mouse behaves. If I view a currently recording program the mouse gets stolen and if I exit watching the video then the mouse keeps getting stolen. Exit gbpvr and starting it again stops the mouse stealing until video is watched.

It's so your mouse cursor doesn't appear in the middle of the video while you are watching it, which is really annoying, especially if you have just put the mouse in the cabinet and the cursor is in the center of the screen. As a general rule GBPVR is designed to be used without a mouse so having the cursor is annoying. I don't know if there is a setting to disable the gnomes from stealing your cursor.

It doesnt move the mouse at all, it just hides it though, so I'm not sure why it would be returning to the top left of the screen.

It's while gbpvr is in a smallish windows (quarter of the screen?) and I'm doing something else in another windows. The mouse pointer disappears and if I wiggle the mouse, the pointer can be seen in the gbpvr screen. When I said 'top left' before - on further testing the mouse pointer seems to end up just inside the nearest gbpvr window border to where it was outside.
I've rebooted and it doesn't seem to be doing it now. I'll keep an eye open and if it does it again, try to remember the sequence of events.
