The EWA reads dat from and schedules shows to the GBPVR Database. GBPVR does all of the functiaonlity....the EWA just presents inforamtion and extends functions to the Web that are nativley availble in the desktop GBPVR application.

So what version of GBPVR do you have installed and if it is 97.x are you using Acess database (default with install) or SQLite which is currently an optional conversion. sub has indicated that in release 98.x SQLite will be the only datbase supoorted.

Maybe this could help: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...0&page=119 and the next page.

Ahh that did it. And for you Firefox users it's under Tools > Options > Advanced Tab > General Tab > Edit Languages.

Strangely I had Engliush UK as primary. So I added English NZ (en-nz) and put it at the top.

Thanks Htv.

any further direction to help me fixing manual record on EWA ?
UncleJohnsBand said gbpvr use access db by default. I didn't changes anything on that, so I guess my gbpvr is using access db. Besides that, any other configuration on gbpvr ?

You don't need to install Access....there is a database that comes with GBVR that can be read by GBPVR and the EWA without having access installed.

Since you didn;t do anything but install GBPVR then I can assume you have access.

Do regular non-manual recordings work without a problem?

Streaming with EWA question:

has anyone else encountered a problem with the sound? the audio seems to be doubling up. a split second after a word is said, it is repeated. this continues on throughout the whole stream.....not that i have patiently waited that long.

Has anyone experienced issues where when they start a stream they can't launch the player or terminate the stream? Sometimes things work great and other times things seem to get hung up and then no matter where I go in the EWA I get the screen that is attached in the screenshot image. I am using Firefox on Windows Vista beta 2 but this really seems to be a server side issue which is running all the latest GBPVR and EWA on Windows XP.

Doesn't GBPVR stuff not work on Vista? (Last time I tried it didn't.)
