Are you using the latest rev from the wiki site? If so, you could try renaming the task.png in the weather skin sub folder to something else (like task.png.old) and see if the problem goes away. What skin are you using?

using the original GBPVR skin - think I'm using version the most up to date version.

I can't see a task.png associated with the weather plug-in/skin.

Then it is odd that you are getting an error. In any event, why don't you try the attached version.
